Whether or not you believe the latest theories about indigenous people's belief in "2 Spirit" people, those confused beings referred to as  Trans people in pre-history, I hope you can understand that it's always been recognized as wrong, it's been abolished, punished, etc. While there may be very scattered instances where behavior has been allowed for a time, for a particular individual, it's never been encouraged, welcomed, or celebrated. Not ever.  And it's not accepted even now, not in reality, it's just that people are so concerned today about hurt feelings, or having their feelings hurt, that they place emotion above truth. Marriage is between one man and one woman. The proof is that men and women are not the same, but we're complementary, we FIT together naturally and we humans procreate our species in this way.
